You bring everything together.
Project Manager

From overview to operational installation.
A design, a delivery, a test... It’s all connected. You oversee the whole process and bring people and agreements together. From the initial agreement to a fully installed system that works at the crucial moment.
At Zwart, you’ll manage projects for emergency power installations and customised energy systems. For data centres, hospitals and industrial environments where nothing can be allowed to come to a halt.
You look ahead, ask the right questions and ensure that everyone knows what the next step is.
Together, you ensure that every step is right.
You’ll work closely together with the Project Engineer, who will develop the technical solution while you oversee the planning, finances and client commitments. Together, you maintain a clear view of the entire project, from engineering and procurement to construction, testing and handover.
You clearly document agreements and remain in close contact with clients, colleagues and suppliers. If anything changes, you assess the impact on the rest of the project. You visit the workshop and client sites, and ensure that queries are answered promptly.

You know what you’re doing.
You work independently, with support from colleagues on whom you can rely. You discuss technical questions, share your findings and coordinate with other specialists as and when required. Throughout all this, you keep the client informed of what you see and do.
You document your activities and advise on maintenance and next steps while working at data centres, hospitals and industrial locations. When visiting client sites, you bring with you the tools and the diagnostic equipment needed to do your job.
This is how you make it work.
Depending on your role, you will:
- Manage projects from contract to delivery;
- Monitor scheduling, budgeting, scope and quality;
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, production, commissioning and external stakeholders;
- Maintain customer relationships and document agreements, changes and expectations;
- Identify risks and deviations early, and work with colleagues to determine solutions;
- Discuss and report on progress to colleagues and clients;
- Visit project and client sites across the Netherlands and Europe;
- Ensure a smooth handover and a delivery that fulfils the agreed requirements.

Because failure isn’t an option.
A fully installed system is only the end result. To get to this point, people, deliveries and decisions need to come together at precisely the right moment. You understand how a small change to a single component can affect the rest of the project.
If the power cuts out, this impacts more than the power system itself. A data centre will lose its connectivity. An operation cannot continue. A production line stops. That’s why every single aspect of your project must be correct, all the way through to the final arrangement and the final test.
It’s the reason why you maintain a comprehensive overview, keep asking questions and make decisions in consultation with skilled and knowledgeable colleagues. This creates confidence throughout the project and ensures everyone always knows where they stand, right until the system has been built, tested and made ready to be put into operation. After all,
You know what's at risk.

"If the power supply fails, it impacts everything that depends on it. Such as a data centre that must keep running. An operation that must continue. A production line that cannot be allowed to stop."
