These employment terms apply to our roles in the Netherlands. Leave allowances are based on a full-time working week of 38.75 hours.
Pay that reflects your skills
Your salary reflects your knowledge, experience and role. Check the vacancy for details. You also receive an 8% holiday allowance, paid in June.
25 days’ holiday and 5 additional days off
Time to switch off, recharge and enjoy life outside work. The five additional days are provided under the Dutch working-time reduction arrangement, known as ADV.
An extra payment at the end of the year
Depending on company results, you receive a variable year-end payment of 2% to 4% of your gross annual salary.
A pension we contribute to
You build up a pension with PMT. Zwart pays 64% of the pension contribution.

Ready from day one
You start with a clear induction programme and the workspace and equipment you need. In IJmuiden, you work in refurbished premises with modern workshops and a canteen where colleagues have lunch together.
Benefits that fit your role
Working in our workshop is different from working at a customer’s site. Some arrangements therefore depend on your role.
Workshop Technicians
You work in spacious, modern workshops with professional tools. Working hours are 08:00 to 16:45, with an earlier finish at 15:30 on Fridays. You receive a commuting allowance of €0.25 per kilometre.

Service Engineers
You head out with a company van and professional tools. When travelling for customer work, you are paid from door to door, including your travel time. Overtime pay can be up to 200% of your hourly rate, depending on when you work.

You commission installations at customer sites across Europe and regularly further afield. You receive a company car under our car policy, along with overtime pay and reimbursement of work-related expenses under the applicable arrangements.
